Naver Cast: special knowledge contents made by Naver.

Naver Cast is on the Naver's main page. It provides you many different kinds of fun and profound stories. The contents are about culture, life, science, figure and so on, which are written by each expert of various fields every day. It contains not only encyclopedism, but also various knowledge of the world made by novel topics and plans. Naver started out this service in 2009. Now it has already 9,000 contents, and Naver is trying to delivery knowledge more in detail and entertainingly.

Some series of Naver Cast were published as twenty books. In this year, two of them became excellent cultural books by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. First book is 'Weapon Bible' which deals with series of 'The World of Weapon' in Naver Cast. Second book is 'Classic-toon' which were composed with the series of 'Introduction to the Classic ABC' in Naver Cast and some cartoons. Both books have unusual contents which is hard to collect.

'The World of Weapon' in Naver cast is very special contents dealing with the expert knowledge about weapons in Korea. In the beginning of making the serise, the planing group of Naver Cast took note of that other contries approach the knowledge about weapons through some media and books. They thought exact knowledge of weapons without distortion needs to be deliveried, because the history of weapons and wars is bound up with the history of human-beings. As a result, they got enthusiastic response from readers, and 'The world of Weapon' became one of the best popular serieses.

'Introduction to the Classic' focus on introducing small thing like; when we have to clap hands in classic concert hall, How many instruments are in orchestra, and so on.

Actually I'm not interested both two contents in Naver Cast, but I want to give applause for them. They said that they used to think what field has to have more related knowledge contents and how they approach some fields for interesting result. I was surprised at their experimental mind. I think that because they enjoy their works, they could think creatively and got credit for the results they made. Through this post, I got more good image of Naver.
